The 2011 Upper Midwest Intelligence Gathering is only one week away.

Unfortunately, CJ Rodden has unexpectedly become unavailable to present. Can Fred Behnken handle the training all by himself? Will he survive the pressure? Considering his experience in high stress situations, I’d be willing to bet that he can.

For those interested in joining the crew for the golf outing, remember the start time is noon on Monday, August 15th. Dave Miller has already begun cleaning a space on his shelf for ANOTHER trophy. Can anyone stop his winning streak?

The vendors who have confirmed at this time include:
Cassidy Technologies with Crenlo/Emcor
Pelco
MultiTech
Genetec
I-View
Electronic Communications
Tyco Security Products
Winsted
Panasonic

T-Shirts and prizes will be given away throughout the training conference. Anyone with other giveaways or prizes to donate can submit them before the event.

With a combined total in excess of 40 years of experience and multiple degrees and certifications to their credit, this year's training team is sure to educate and entertain.

Fred Behnken has 22 years of experience working in the security field. As a New Mexico State Security Licensing Instructor, he has certified hundreds of high level Security personnel, has numerous experiences as a Security manager and army officer. Fred accomplished a Master’s Degree in Security Management and owns and operates a security training organization with numerous multi-level, skilled Security instructors.  Fred has extensive working relationships with numerous Native American Casinos in the South West and recently completed a marketing venture to the Native American market in the North West.

CJ Rodden has over 20 years of experience in security management.  He has earned a BA in Criminology from the University of New Mexico and an MA in Business & Organizational Security Management from Webster University.  CJ is Board Certified in Security Management as a Certified Protection Professional by ASIS International.  He has over three years experience as an adjunct instructor at University of Phoenix, teaching in the Criminal Justice and Security Management degree fields. He has provided armed and unarmed security to large and small clients, and has more than ten years experience in the hospitality sector.
